Media Studies Lab

The Media Studies Lab (MSL) is affiliated to the Centre for Research in Communication of the College of Communication and Public Relations (National University of Political Studies and Public Administration). The main research projects of the members within the Lab focus on media communication practices and effects, the construction of the media agenda, and the reconfiguration of media practices with the emergence of social media. Based on these research interests, MSL cultivates a comparative and interdisciplinary approach of the following research topics: third person effect, framing, European identity, populist discourse, political communication, new media, etc. The Lab brings together professors and researchers with extensive experience on research fields such as: media studies, political communication and discourse analysis. PhD students could become members of the Lab during their PhD studies.
