Oana Ștefăniță is a teaching associate and researcher of the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, National School of Political Studies and Public Administration. Oana has a PhD in Communication Sciences, her doctoral thesis addressing the media role in the Europeanization process and in creating a European identity, as well as the influence between the media agenda and the citizens’ agenda (summary). She was the beneficiary of a Fulbright scholarship for research within the James M. Cox Jr. Center for International Mass Communication Training and Research, University of Georgia, USA (2014/2015), participating in academic and research activities. She has a work experience in research and communication, currently being a researcher, member of the Media and the European Public Sphere Laboratory, Center for Research in Communication, and teaching seminars of Mass Media & Society, Research Methods in Communication Sciences, and Sociology. Her academic interests cover areas related to mass communication and the study of media effects, psychology, education, Europeanization and sociology.
