Monica Elena Cotei (Mărăcineanu) graduated in 1999 the Faculty of Letters, Bucharest University, with double specialization, Romanian-English. Subsequently, in 2017 she graduated the master course Social Media and Marketing Online within the Communication and Public Relations Faculty, National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) as Valedictorian and her master thesis was centered on the crisis communication, analyzing the 2016 online Brădet crisis. Currently, she is a PhD student in Communication Sciences within SNSPA PhD School and the research theme she chose focuses on the influence of social media excessive use on youth academic motivation. With an experience in the insurance field of over 13 years and in MarComm since 2014, authorized English translator & interpreter and former English teacher, Monica’s main current interests are related to communication and public relations, content marketing, copywriting, branding, storytelling and social media, to which her lifelong dreams to write and teach are added, all in a series of concentric circles built around her passion for education.
