Geogiana Manole-Andrei is a 5 th year PhD. student at the NUPSA in Bucharest, Romania. She is a graduate of Communication studies, with a master’s degree in Project Management. She previously was interested in fields as interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence, currently focusing on correlation between emotional competence and specific communication in total institutions. She teaches Introduction to sociology as associate teacher for College Communication and Public Relations NUPSA. Also, she is member of the Social Cognition and Emotion communication Laboratory at NUPSA. She is currently working as a police officer for Romania National Penitentiary System.
