Adina Ionescu is an associate professor at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, PhD student in Communication Studies at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies and research assistant in various national and international projects. She loves to learn and probably even more to teach others. Her areas of interest focus on gamification, social psychology, health communication and media literacy interventions to combat disinformation.
As a debate and public speaking trainer for 8 years, Adina uses non-formal education methods that develop critical thinking and creative skills in high school and college students. With an unbridled passion for helping the community, giving back through her knowledge and creating inclusive structures, she is part of several NGOs and projects focused on combating disinformation, improving fact-checking skills in journalists, implementing innovative media literacy methods and supporting the improvement of public communication in Romania.
